Biography
Artist: Tom Dalton
Works as a contemporary Sculptor/Furniture designer.
My interest in contemporary sculpture was formed while designing furniture pieces. As an artist I like to take these functional objects and push the boundaries of their design.
The abstract work is a mixture of the architectural/natural form offset against the given environment.
The abstraction of these elements in my work is what expresses the connection we have with our environment and celebrates the architectural form and its interplay with the natural form that creates the dynamic in some of my work of late.
